1. What’s the difference between Tailkits and Tailkits UI?
Tailkits (tailkits.com) is a curated directory of community-built Tailwind CSS templates, components, and tools from independent creators.
Tailkits UI (tailkits.com/ui) is our own in-house component library — 200+ production-ready Tailwind sections with native MCP support, built and maintained by our team.
2. What types of products are accepted on Tailkits?
Tailkits is a niche directory for Tailwind CSS and web development resources.
We accept UI kits, templates (Astro, Next.js, React, Vue), and Tailwind-specific utilities. We do not accept unrelated tools such as sitemap generators, image-to-text extractors, SEO tools, or templates that don't use Tailwind CSS.
3. Can I submit products built with Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks?
No. We only list products built with Tailwind CSS. Submissions using other CSS frameworks will be rejected.
4. Can I submit design-only assets such as Figma or Sketch files?
Only if accompanied by production-ready Tailwind code. Design-only assets without coded output are not accepted.
5. Is listing on Tailkits guaranteed after submission?
No. Every submission is manually reviewed by our team to maintain quality standards for the community. We look for clean code (no "div soup"), professional design and UX, and full responsiveness across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
6. What kind of product names are accepted?
Your product must have a unique brand name - not a generic, descriptive title. We do not accept keyword-stuffed names like "Free Tailwind Dashboard" or "React Tailwind Admin Template." Think branded: Echo, SyncMaster, Metafi.
7. Do I need a live demo URL?
Yes, a working and publicly accessible live demo URL is required for every submission. "Coming Soon" pages or broken links will result in immediate rejection. The demo must accurately represent what the buyer will receive.
8. How long does it take for my product to be listed?
Free submissions are reviewed within 14 business days. Booster & Partner plan submissions are reviewed and published within 48 hours.
9. What if my paid submission is rejected?
If you purchase a Booster or Partner plan and your product does not meet our quality standards, you will receive a full refund. We prioritize our site's quality over listing fees.
10. Can I update my product later?
Yes. You can contact our support team to update screenshots, pricing, or description text for an existing listing.
11. Where do Tailkits visitors come from?
