This License explains what you can and cannot do with the paid Tailkits UI component library (Individual and Team plans) and any accompanying assets (“Licensed Product”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Tailkits UI, you accept this License.

Tailkits UI is not affiliated with Tailwind Labs Inc.

1. Overview

Tailkits UI includes:

Free components released under the MIT License (see §3.1), and
Paid components / assets governed by this Commercial License.

This License focuses on usage rights for the Licensed Product. Refunds and other commercial terms are described in our Terms of Use.

2. Definitions

Term	Meaning
Tailkits / we / us	Nordic Landing OÜ.
Licensee / you	The individual or legal entity purchasing (or otherwise validly obtaining) the License.
Licensed Product	Tailkits UI paid code components, layouts, documentation, design files (if included), MCP server package/configuration for local use, and eligible updates per your plan.
Seat	One (1) human developer who builds or maintains code using the Licensed Product. Build servers and CI/CD pipelines are not Seats.
Project	One (1) website, SaaS, mobile app, internal tool, or other end-product compiled/shipped by the Licensee.
Subscription Term	The period during which a Quarterly or Yearly subscription is active.
Lifetime License	A one-time purchase granting ongoing access to the Licensed Product and eligible “lifetime updates” (see §7).
Fair Use Policy	Reasonable internal use within a single organization. Redistribution outside the organization or automated extraction of components is not fair use.

3. License grants

3.1 Free (MIT) License

A subset of Tailkits UI components is released under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute those free components under the MIT terms. You may not claim or imply that paid components are MIT-licensed.

3.2 Individual License (Quarterly / Yearly subscription)

If you purchase an Individual subscription:

One (1) Seat
Unlimited Projects
Updates while subscribed (during the Subscription Term)
Attribution not required

After your subscription ends, you may keep using Tailkits UI components you already incorporated into Projects created during the Subscription Term, but you may not download new paid updates/assets unless you re-subscribe.

3.3 Individual Lifetime License

If you purchase an Individual Lifetime license:

One (1) Seat
Unlimited Projects
Lifetime updates (see §7)
Attribution not required

3.4 Team License (subscription or lifetime)

If you purchase a Team plan:

Unlimited internal Seats within a single legal entity (subject to Fair Use in §6)
Unlimited Projects
Plan benefits made available at purchase (e.g., private downloads and/or priority support if included)

Updates:

Team subscription: updates while subscribed
Team lifetime: lifetime updates (see §7)

4. Permitted uses ✅

✔︎	Personal & client work	Use Tailkits UI in unlimited websites, SaaS apps, admin panels, marketing pages, internal tools, or client projects (as allowed by your plan).
✔︎	Modification	Modify the HTML, JS/TS (if any), and Tailwind classes as needed.
✔︎	Internal repositories	Store the Licensed Product in private version-control systems accessible only to employees/contractors of the Licensee who are working under this License.
✔︎	Distribution within a Project	Bundle compiled output (e.g., built CSS/JS) as part of your Project shipped to end users.
✔︎	Use with AI tools / MCP	Use Tailkits UI with AI tools (including via MCP) to help build your Projects, provided you do not expose the raw paid source to third parties as a product or service.
✔︎	Brand reference	Mention Tailkits UI as a factual reference (e.g., “Built with Tailkits UI”). Attribution is not required.

5. Prohibited uses ❌

✖︎	Resell or redistribute	Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, share, or redistribute the Licensed Product itself (paid components/assets), modified or not, outside your Projects.
✖︎	Templates & generators	Use Tailkits UI to create theme marketplace items, UI kits, no-code builders, generators, or libraries that allow third parties to extract the raw paid source.
✖︎	Public source disclosure	Publish the source code of paid components/assets in any public repository or otherwise make it publicly accessible.
✖︎	Multi-company sharing	Share the Licensed Product with sister companies, agencies, or clients for them to reuse directly (they must purchase their own license).
✖︎	“Tailkits UI as a service”	Offer a hosted or downloadable service that lets third parties browse/export Tailkits UI paid source without a separate written agreement from Tailkits.
✖︎	Automated extraction	Scrape, mine, or bulk-extract components for mirroring, resale, or redistribution.
✖︎	Trademark misuse	Use the Tailkits name or logo in a way that implies endorsement or partnership.

6. Seat & Fair Use Policy

6.1 Individual (Seat limit)

An Individual license is limited to one (1) Seat. If multiple developers need access, purchase a Team plan or additional licenses.

6.2 Team (internal use only)

Team access is limited to employees and long-term contractors working for the same legal entity. You may not provide access to clients or other external parties for their own reuse.

6.3 No automated extraction

Any tooling or automation whose purpose is to expose or redistribute Tailkits UI paid source to third parties violates this License.

7. Updates & support

7.1 Updates

Subscription plans: updates are available while subscribed.
Lifetime plans: include lifetime updates for the product.

“Lifetime updates” means updates made available to lifetime license holders for as long as Tailkits UI is offered and maintained. It does not guarantee updates in the event the product is discontinued.

7.2 Support

Support is provided via email at [email protected]. If your plan includes priority support, any SLA is as described at the time of purchase.

8. Refunds

Refund eligibility and the refund process are described in the Tailkits UI Terms of Use (and any checkout terms displayed at purchase time). If this License conflicts with the Terms of Use regarding refunds, the Terms of Use governs.

9. Termination

We may terminate this License if you breach these terms and fail to cure within 14 days of written notice. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Licensed Product and derivative paid source code (except to the extent removal from already-shipped compiled Projects is not reasonably possible).

10. Warranty & liability

The Licensed Product is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nordic Landing OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Licensed Product.

11. Governing law

This License is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.
